
Fresco Da Franco
Fresco Da Franco was born out of a lifetime of inspired and authentic cuisine, using only the freshest of ingredients. Owner and chef Franco Porporino Jr. is a first generation Italian American, and grew up with his mother, Mamma Giuseppina, creating fresh, home cooked meals. Mamma Giusepinna, who plays a prominent role in the cuisine at Fresco Da Franco, always used herbs and vegetables right from her backyard garden. When it came time to name his restaurant, Franco kept it simple, naming it "Fresco" which means "fresh" in Italian. Today, Franco and his team are dedicated to
maintaining the integrity of Mamma Giuseppina's cuisine by using fresh, high quality ingredients, to create some of the most authentic,
contemporary Italian cuisine in New Jersey.
